All Copper Verdigris Markers

for the Serious Gardener!

Copper Repels Slugs!!!

Don't forget your hosta collection when ordering.

All Copper ~ Solid one piece  construction - means nothing to get separated from the stem and no dangling parts that create a cuteness or whimsy in the garden.  Leave that for the garden decorations that are meant to be fun!

Letters are engraved and the whole marker is sealed to ensure a luster to the lettering for years to come.

Our copper markers have a true patina finish with an antique appearance. Just as the variable shading in a good pair of Levis!

Jack- in-the-Pulpit

Bloodroot - Sanguinaria canadensis Jacob's Ladder - Polemonium reptans
Each name plate is 3 x 1 1/4 in size and has room for a common name and a botanical name.  The stem is about 14 inches in length and proper placement is about 12 inches in front of the plant and all the way into the ground so the plate is just slightly on top of the mulch.  This allows for year around use. Projection of more stem interferes with raking and general gardening maintenance.  After all, it is meant to mark the plant for you.  Placing the marker next to the base or into the crown of the plant is highly discouraged.

Copper repels slugs - Chemical free! it's the green way to go! It is a known fact that copper puts an electric like shock in the soil for a radius of about 15 inches.  Your garden center sells copper tape, why not use an attractive marker with the common and botanical name of the plant instead ?
